Fertilizer with crabgrass control - Middle of May through June

This is basically the same type of product that is used in the early spring.  The fertilizer in this application contains more slow release and less quick release.  When I put this application down we will be getting into the hotter weather and it is better for the lawn to have less quick release fertilizer.

This application will also have more crabgrass preventer with it. This is to reinforce the original application. By this time of year the original application of crabgrass preventer is starting to break down due to sitting out in the sun and rain. This second application reinforces the first to prevent any late germinating weeds. At this time I will also spot treat the lawn for broadleaf weeds.
